- Be wary of testimonies, endorsements, and products.
- Retraining does not warrant ridicule of previous trainers.
- If and when advertising, always be honest.
- Keep accurate records.
- Don’t use bogus endorsements.
- Don’t discredit or slander other trainers. Focus on the situation at hand.
- Let a Veterinarian take care of all medical treatments.
- Let people know your fees up front.
- When using info. From books and articles, always give credit where it is due.
- Inform your clients of legalities of ownership and training.
- Be careful of kickbacks. Always be legit.
